Scarlet Rage Vintage was started over a decade ago in a university bar on valentines day. The business has grown and developed to the brand you know now.
Jade Stavri is a second generation vintage and antiques dealer. Her mother had a stall in Camden in the late 1970’s and later went on to open the best antiques store in London with her husband (Jade’s father). They supplied antiques to the likes of Harrods and Tommy Hilfiger and many more. So Jade grew in flea marks and antique fairs. So it’s no wonder she loves the old and beautiful.
For many years Jade was a fashion editor and stylist going on tours with artists and styling photoshoots which came in hand for the next chapter of Scarlet Rage Vintage. Having many clients and a huge amount of vintage clothing. The shop in Crouch End was opened for six years the doors were open. Scarlet Rage Vintage was featured in many publications such as Vogue, Grazia and Time Out. It won many awards especially for being The Best Vintage Shop in London. It supplied vintage for such TV shows as the iconic Downton Abbey and Dawn O Porters tv show to name a few.
The next chapter came when owner Jade decided to take a risk and move out of North London, where she was born and bred and buy a 1930’s home on the south coast and close the doors on the Crouch End store. This has been a huge success as Jade, has a beautiful studio and warehouse space where she has private shopping appointments with clients (you can have you’re own appointment too) and still supplies and sources vintage for film and tv to this day. Scarlet Rage Vintage also pops up at vintage fairs such as Hammersmith once every couple of months. The studio has photography space where Jade shoots many models for Scarlet Rage’s instagram and website. Don’t worry Jade has also kept up with her youtube channel where she chats with people within the vintage community and talks everything vintage.
