Rose Marie Reid was a Canadian born, American swimwear designer who made her first swimsuit in 1937. The trapeze style cover up has button on neckline. Then play suit has concealed back metal zipper.

This halter neck beauty has a lace up front just to give you that added bit of sex appeal. This one piece has lace down front and hook and eye on the back of the halter neck and a metal zip down the front, the swimsuit isn't lined and I would not recommend going into the water in.   • Absolutely gorgeous vintage 1953 labelled Catalina swimsuit with the most beautiful rocking horse print. Catalina sportswear was founded in 1928 when the founder Edgar W. Stewart changed the name of the mill he owned. In the 1940's this brand cleaverly employed several famous designers to work on designs for them. From famous costumier Edith Head to iconic Mary Ann DeWeese. This swmsuit is strapless but does have buttons on the inside to attach straps. Does not come with strap. No opening, it's a pull up number. Please note none of the accessories worn with this swimsuit is included.
  • Absolutely iconic customised vintage 1960's / 1970's sun dress. This sun dress was orginally owned by the famous Del Rubio triplets. The Del Rubio Triplets were an American folk/acoustic cover band who rose to fame in the 1980s due mostly to their campy style of dress and their cover versions of songs. They earlier performed from the 1940s through the 1960s as The Boyd Triplets as singers in Xavier Cugat's band, in night clubs, and in at least one movie. So I have all three of these sun dress, but each triplet had a different colour background. This DeWeese Design floral sun dress was custom sequined so they could be worn for stage performances. The sun dress also has POCKETS! The sun dress has no openings so it's an over the head situation.

  • Absolutely incredible vintage 1950's golden and pink batik print Hawaiian swimsuit and cover up set. This set is by the wonderful Hawaiian firm Malia. This swimsuit has a beautiful shirring side and gathered sarong style detail off the hip. The cover up is also a lovely bell style shape. Swimsuit has a metal back zip.
  • Wonderful rare 1920's / 1930's bathing suit. This bathing suit has incredible triangle style details scattered on the front in wonderful pastel hues of yellow, cream and blue. Bathing suit has no openings its a pull up the legs situation.
  • Jaw dropping vintage 1950's gothic bad girl swimsuit / costume by the famous swimwear brand Catalina sportwear. This brand was started in 1928 and has graced the bodies of many famous actresses like Marlyn Monroe. This piece has the most incredible studded strap neck detail that connects to the swimsuit and is truly inky black and when worn is just jaw dropping. The swimsuit only has the tie detail on the neckline and no other openings.
